About this event

Medical officers, General Practitioners, Nurses and Paramedics working in Emergency Care settings are invited to attend this interactive workshop delivered through small and large group discussions of clinical obstetric emergency case scenarios.

Registration is required and as numbers for each session are limited please book early to avoid disappointment.

This workshop is pending RACGP/ACRRM accreditation and participants will receive a statement of attendance for 3.5 hours of CPD (3 hours Reviewing Performance, 0.5 hours Educational Activities).

Learning Outcomes:

1. Prioritise the immediate assessment priorities and differential diagnosis in the patient presenting with antepartum haemorrhage

2. Discriminate the clinical presentation and emergency management of severe preeclampsia and eclampsia

3. Differentiate the clinical findings and management of preterm labour and preterm prelabour rupture of membranes (PPROM)

4. Summarise the preparation and emergency management of delivery in the non-obstetric setting
